I had a cartilage removed from my left knee at 15 years old. Messed it up triple jumping for my county. Soldiered on for a long time then aged 71 it gave me so much trouble I had to have a total knee replacement. Quite surprised by this young man as my surgeon, perhaps because I was so old myself, but he did a fantastic job. I now walk my dog 5 miles a day, play golf, climb any number of stairs (and go down) and absolutely no trouble at all.
I would add that I was a good boy and did my pre and post operation exercises diligently.
Nothing but praise for Mr Templeton-Ward and if anyone asks, I am pleased to be able to name him as my surgeon.
From the first time I met Mr Templeton Ward and he explained that whilst I had a serious knee injury, it would recover,I felt completely relaxed with his calm assurances and very Professional manor.
The operation seems to have been successful and a month after the operation, I already have a good knee bend and can walk comfortably without crutches.
I would thoroughly recommend Mr Templeton Ward.
Oliver T-W gave 'great care' to my son Patrick in 2016-2017
Patrick was then 12 and had a nasty ligament injury to his right knee playing rugby. Not only was his pre-operation care excellent but his operation (6 hours long) resulted in Patrick having a knee that now does anything he wants it to with a repaired and intact cruciate ligament. Patrick has subsequently been selected to represent to South Central ISFA football 2018 and just been offered a place with Harlequins rugby development Squad for 2018
How much better can care get?

Mr Oliver Templeton-Ward is great.
I tore my ACL and damaged my cartilage and he took great care to ensure I had the best possible outcome by doing 2 separate operations. He included my in the decision making throughout this process and explained everything to his best ability. Obviously having an operation wasn't easy but it was made much better feeling I could trust the person fixing me.
Keep it up Ollie!
I had a total knee replacement carried out by Mt Templeton Ward. The initial consultation was very informative and I was made to feel at ease straight away. The care and attention I received post op and follow up was first class.
